Massage and Kinesiology

As a practitioner I am always looking for ways to improve the treatments I offer.  Recently I’ve started to combine my kinesiology techniques with massage and have seen some great results.

So what does this mean for you?  Before a massage, I will muscle test to find relevant information such as:

What muscles to focus on, and if I need to massage them in a specific order

  • If you would benefit from a particular type of stretching to relax super tight muscles
  • If an emotion is involved (see Eve’s article “Ohh my knee! I’m letting my emotions
get to me!”) and what simple techniques I can use to help alleviate these emotions
  • Whether any other kinesiology based techniques are required

Although it may seem unusual, using kinesiology at the beginning of a massage helps remove any doubt and guesswork, allowing me to tailor the massage to your exact needs, which in turn will give you better, longer lasting results.
